WHO WE ARE

PURPOSE STATEMENT

His Love Covers Church believes in the entire Bible. Our ministry focal emphasis is on the New Testament, therefore,  we are deemed as a New Testament Church. Our emphasis is based on the two teachings of Jesus in Matthew 22:36-40;

• Love God with all your being. (You and the Father)
• Love your neighbor as yourself.  (You and others)

And carry out the Great Commission according to Matthew 28:19-20;
“Jesus said, Go and make disciples of all nations… teaching them to do everything I have commanded you.”

By following these principles:
1. We will SERVE the Lord with a genuine heart.
2. We will REACH THE UNCHURCHED and RESTORE THE CHURCHED to the Kingdom of God.
3. We will DEVELOP AND ANTICIPATE covenant relationship that lasts.
4.  We will EQUIP & EMPOWER others to walk in their calling,
5. We will TRAIN leaders to send them forth to carry out the work of Jesus Christ.

VISON STATEMENT

Our desire is to inspire this generation by equipping and empowering them to make a difference for the next generation by precept and example through spiritual maturity, family development and community outreach. Through an investment of time, mentoring and stewardship, we will build strong biblical families.

Thus together, we build the Lord a house where his people can worship the true and living God, transform lives one at a time and provide a safe haven for all people.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible written Word of God.

We believe that there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son and, God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the blessed Hope, which is the rapture of the Church of God, which is in Christ, at His return.

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious Blood of Jesus Christ.
We believe that regeneration by the Holy Ghost is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the Cross provides healing for the human body in answer to believing prayer.

We believe that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it.

We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a holy and separated life in the present world.
